Middle School Raiders of the Month – Responsible Risk Takers

Congratulations to October’s Raiders of the Month! Middle School students were recognized for their taking “responsible risks.” This group of student role models, demonstrated responsible risk taking by participating in class, joining clubs in school and participating in activities outside of school. They also took the initiative to talk a teacher when needing answers or assistance. We are particularly proud of them for standing up against bullying along with supporting and encouraging others.

Hudson Prairie Wellness

Students and teachers running on the track.
Students at Hudson Prairie began running daily during recess in October as part of their fall student wellness actions. Students ran laps around a 1/4 marked course and logged laps on a personal punch card.
To celebrate the outstanding work by all students, the entire school participated in a Pumpkin Run at the end of October. Grade levels wore various themes. For each lap completed, students earned a healthy treat provided by the Hudson Prairie Parent Group and Hudson Prairie Wellness committee.
