Hudson Prairie Elementary fifth graders Hunter Magnus and Luke Jannusch participated in Hudson Heroes, a program supported by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Hudson.

Their project was to carry out a fund-raising campaign  for Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue. They were able to raise $300 in cash and gift cards, as well as collect various items which the organization will use to rescue and foster dogs.  These dogs are later put up for adoption. The boys were mentored by Paul and Bette Vandersteen of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Hudson.
