HMS Student Participate in St. Croix River Youth Summit

Several Hudson Middle School students who are members of the HMS Sustainability Club participated in the St. Croix River Youth Summit at UW-River Falls on February 28th. It was a day of learning how the river can help in so many ways including helping people with mental health issues. The students had an opportunity to interact with federal, state, and county environmental employees; learning about what they do and opportunities for students who may be interested in environmental careers. Over 100 students who participated in the event from schools in the St. Croix River watershed.
