Acceleration and Speed Program
A Speed Program is being offered at St. Croix Acceleration (Hudson). Acceleration uses a Speed Treadmill program to complement Raider Elite or any other strength and conditioning program athletes may be using. The program is designed to improve top end speed and explosiveness.
Acceleration trains in small groups of 2-6 athletes. Athletes spring on an incline treadmill in front of a mirror with a trainer breaking down and correcting sprinting flaws. High intensity, over speed, sprinting bouts are completed for 55 minutes and complemented with hip, glute, hamstring, and core strengthening drills. Pre- and post-tests are also completed.
