Family, Community, and Career Leaders of America (FCCLA)
FCCLA is a national career and technical student organization that provides opportunities to expand leadership potential and develop skills for life.
These skills include:
- goal setting,
- problem solving,
- decision making,
- character development,
- creative and critical thinking,
- practical knowledge,
- career preparation, and
- interpersonal communication,
all of which are important to become a strong leader in the home and workplace. We will strengthen these skills through community and chapter events and opportunities to attend conferences and compete in events at the regional, state, and national level. Students need to have taken a Family and Consumer Science course at some point from 7th grade to 12th grade to be a member.
