Environmental Club

Meets Weekly on Wednesdays from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Advisor:  Mrs. Conklin

Room 121 Norman

The purpose of the Environmental Club is to learn and promote positive environmental stewardship to the Hudson School District and Community. We will devise activities for Earth Week and America Recycles Day, send out Greent Tips, cancel junk mail,  conduct collections for wildlife and recycling programs. We hope to partner with the F.F.A. to develop a plan to upkeep our school prairie and forest.  We will also participate in learning activities like building a solar oven and cooking smores. I have worked hard on many environmental initiatives in River Falls to make them the 4th most sustainable city in the nation and I think it is very important to help our younger generations instill these values. If you want to help save the earth, this is the club for you!  First meeting is September 23.
