This past Tuesday, we inducted 27 new 4th and 5th grade National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) members, to join three current members. NEHS is built upon four pillars: Leadership, Responsibility, Scholarship, and Service. Houlton Elementary is one of only a few elementary schools in the state of Wisconsin to have a NEHS chapter, and we are very proud of these students! In addition to being role models of the Houlton Way, students in Houlton’s NEHS are involved with many community service projects, including the Blood Drive, Grant’s Toy Box, Stuff a Truck, the Heifer Project, and other schoolwide, national, and international projects.
Operation Help Christmas Campaign provides Christmas gifts for children birth to age 18 (if still in high school). This program is only for residents of the Hudson School District. Please see attached flyer.
