Preparation has always been a staple of Hudson Raider football, and even though the motto has been used before, we have decided to embrace it as the football team’s main identity. It comes from a quote from Abraham Lincoln which states, “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.”
