Hudson Prairie Elementary
Daily Announcements

Hudson High School presents ANNIE.

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations… and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt! She finds a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Performances   November 5, 6, 12, 13 – 7 pm; November 7, 14 – 2 pm

Stuff a Truck for the Hudson Area Food Shelf

The Hudson School District and County Market are helping to collect food for the Hudson Area Food Shelf from October 25 through November 5. During this time of economic uncertainty, the Food Shelf is being used by more families, and the Stuff a Truck event helps fill our warehouse. Each of the Hudson schools will have a collection box beginning October 25. Students can bring nonperishable items during those two weeks. Items specifically requested are listed  below.  Please make sure that the “use by” date hasn’t passed. The Food Shelf and its participants thank you for your help!
