Graduation Details

It is hard to believe that your student is on the final leg of their K-12 educational journey.  Graduation will be upon us before we know it!.  The Graduation Ceremony will be held on Saturday May 25th, 2024.  Seniors will meet on May 13th during advisory to go over graduation expectation and planning.  They will discuss diploma requirements, unpaid fines & fees, returning Chromebooks, and rehearsal.  For those of you already planning, you will find useful graduation details listed below.  We look forward to enjoying the final months with our seniors!

  • Graduation will be held on Saturday, May 25th at 7:00pm outdoors in the Raider Stadium. Should the ceremony need to be moved indoors due to weather, an AlertNow message will be sent to all families and posted on the High School website.
  • The gates will open for seating at 5:30 PM. 
  • There will be no assigned/reserved seating.  
  • Each graduate will be allocated four tickets.
  • A bonus Three Tickets  will be given to families to use only if the ceremony takes place outdoors.  The bonus tickets are not valid if the ceremony is moved indoors.
  • The auditorium will be open at 5:30 PM for overflow seating. No ticket is required in the auditorium.
  • Graduation will be live streamed and displayed in the auditorium and on the scoreboard. 
  • We were able to confirm that the ceremony will be live streamed on the River Channel.  It will also be saved on YouTube.
  • Senior photos will play on the stadium VideoBoard before and after the ceremony and will also be posted on district social media and HHS website following the event.
  • Students and families will have an opportunity to take photos in the plaza area before graduates go directly to the All Night Party.
  • Graduation photos will be available through Lifetouch. 
  • Those attending the party must remain on the premises after graduation. The all night party is a lock-in event. 
  • Cap & Gowns & Graduation Tickets will be distributed May 1st (9:00-3:00) & May 2nd (9:00-1:00) in the Multi-Purpose room.  Parent volunteers are needed to help on the distribution days.  If interested, please sign up here.
  • If you are in need of a cap and gown set or just a tassel, they will be sold in MySchoolBucks from April 8th – April 12th.  If you are experiencing financial hardship, please reach out to your school counselor prior to April 12th.  Cap and gowns are required to participate in the Graduation ceremony.  
  • Mandatory graduation rehearsal is scheduled for Friday, May 24th at 9:45am.

Cap, Gown, And Tassel orders are due November 27th.
