Advisors: Mrs. Slaikeu and Ms. Bjerk

Room 230 Windsor

Participants in history club will take part in the nationwide program known as National History Day.  NHD is a semi year-long program focused on research, interpretation and creative expression. By participating in NHD, students become writers, filmmakers, web designers, playwrights and artists as they create unique projects about areas of history in which they are interested (there are five project options from which students can choose). Students can work independently or with small groups. The experience culminates in a series of contests at the regional level; ours is at the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire in April; the state level in Madison, Wisconsin, and an annual national competition in the nation’s capital in June. History Club is awesome and a great resume builder too!!  First meeting is November 10.
