
Hudson High School was filled with pride and excitement as families, staff, and community members gathered for the 2025 Scholarship Awards Banquet. Hosted in the school auditorium, the event recognized the achievements of 79 exceptional seniors who were awarded a remarkable 115 scholarships, totaling approximately $183,000 in funds. The evening served as a celebration of academic success and a powerful reflection of the generosity and support within the Hudson community.
Principal Mike Ballard welcomed guests and opened the evening by highlighting the significance of the event. He emphasized that the banquet honors not only the students’ accomplishments but also the collective efforts that make such achievements possible.
The program included special recognition of Nathan Gehring and Corrine Franz, who played key roles in planning and organizing the event. Their work began months in advance and culminated in a memorable night for students and families alike.
Gratitude was also extended to the many local donors, scholarship committees, school counselors, and staff members whose support and dedication made the awards possible. Their contributions of time, resources, and encouragement underscored the spirit of community that defines Hudson High School.
As the program concluded, all scholarship recipients were invited to gather on the Socratic Stairs for a commemorative group photo—a tradition that captures the promise and potential of Hudson’s graduating class.
